Which Came First?

It's the age-old question... Which came first, the chicken or the egg?  Well, in my case the chicken came first.  I made three of them and one chick before I found the egg pattern.  I got the chicken pattern a few weeks ago then I was playing around on Ravelry (love!) and found the fried egg pattern.  Call me cheap but I didn't really want to drop the $2.95 for the pattern so I just looked and studied and figured it out on my own.  In the end it would have been much faster and easier just to buy the pattern so now I'll know for next time.
