Due to unforeseen health complications not only was my week not as productive as I planned but I also get an earlier delivery than planned with the baby. I have an amnio scheduled next week and if everything checks out she'll come later that same day. I'm so excited but lamenting those things on my to do list that just aren't going to happen. In spite of all of that I did manage to get stuff done this week and am linking up with WiP Wednesday over at Freshly Pieced.
Here's my first hexagon. I love it! This fabric line (Simply Style by V and Co. for Moda) is just so fabulous!! |
I have all my supplies together in my open wide zipper pouch and I'm amazed with how much fits in it! It's so nice to have it all in one place and be able to close it up to escape tiny hands. |
It looks like you got a lot accomplished this week! :) Love the little Hexies.. my daughter is working on the little ones too! She wants to make her first quilt as a hexie quilt! Craziness.... ;) lol!
ReplyDeleteThose hats are so adorable, even without the embellishments. The hexie's sound like a great project, I can't imagine doing a whole quilt's worth!
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best with the baby. I'm looking forward to 'meeting' her. Our little bundle (well, my son and DIL's little bundle) will arrive sometime in the next ten days. I am one excited Grandma to be!
I love your hexies! I have a pile of them sitting in an open wide zipper pouch to be a pillow cover...but I can't decide how I want to sew them together so they have just been sitting there and I opted to knit instead :) Good luck getting all ready for the little one. Gives me hope that there is an end in sight for me!
ReplyDeleteLove the hexies - for not being productive, you sure are productive. :)
ReplyDeleteI still need to pick up your top. Maybe tomorrow?
That was me!
DeleteExciting news! I love your little hexies, we're camping this weekend and I've brought mine with me! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the hexies! I have a hexie quilt on my 'want to make' list. Someday...
ReplyDeleteGood luck this week. Can't wait to see pictures of the new little one!
